Marvel's Deadpool franchise

Deadpool (Saw this at AMC Evanston in Chicago)

First, may I start by saying if you haven't seen a movie at the AMC Evanston in Chicago, go see one. Anyways this is my favorite origin story of any superhero movie. Ryan Reynolds plays the perfect sarcastic asshole that is Deadpool. Packed with a bunch of smug, witty humor, Deadpool is the story of how a morbid mercenary with inoperable cancerous tumors, goes through testing by some messed up rouge Russian experiment that leads him to be deformed, but have advanced healing powers. He seeks out revenge against the men who did this to him, mainly some Russian mad scientist. Spoiler alert, Deadpool kills all those fucked Russian dudes and runs away with the only thing he enjoys, his wife, played by smoke show actress Morean Baccarin.

Rumor has it she is going to be playing Shiklah 

Movie Grade: 8/10 

Deadpool 2 

Deadpool 2 is a pretty solid follow up to the very successful origin story. There were minor shoutouts to some minor fan favorite villains. Juggernaut makes his debut appearance, something Marvel fans have been waiting years for. Cable, Played by Josh Brolin, starts as the main bad guy in the movie, then the little kid who can combust becomes the main bad guy, and then some way they all become friends at the end of the movie. Why it is worth watching? Just like the first movie, this film is funny from start to finish, even if by the end you start getting a little annoyed with Ryan Reynolds humor. Why I'm only rating it a 7, the supporting characters, along with the villians, were a little rushed, and because of the weird affiliations they have in the comics, makes it a tad confusing. There will be a third movie, as this was once again a box office success, but in order to make a successful third film, we need an iconic comic character playing a major role, and a major problem for the seemingly unstoppable Deadpool.
