"Smallfolk" Breaking Down Season 2 Episode 6 of House of the Dragon

The Green’s have the most powerful and largest dragon in Vhagar, ridden by Aemond Targaryen. But it appears now the advantage is back in the court of Princess Rhaenyra who now might have 2 more dragon riders emerging from her clan. The episode began with Rhanyra choosing Ser Steffon Darklyn as the next rider of the dragon Seasmoke. But before he could mount seasmoke, he was lit on fire by the dragon. This was devastating for Rhanyra, who was comforted by her friend and council, Mysaria. In a shocking revelation, Rhaenyra and Mysaria shared an intimate kiss together before being told that Seasmoke was seen with a mysterious rider. This is where we will begin our discussion. 

A New Dragon Riders Emerges 

Addam of Hull was chased down by Seasmoke. Terrified, he was cornered by the dragon. But much to his surprise, the dragon seemed to choose the ship worker as his next rider. He and his brother Alyn are the bastard sons of Lord Corlys Velaryon. Now that this is known, will they look at his brother to try and bond with the beast Vermithor, the dangerous dragon who lives riderless with the Blacks? Or will Mysaria continue to rise the ranks and become the next dragon rider? Either way, Vermithor is the biggest threat to Vhagar, but at least the Blacks now have 4 capable riders bonded with dragons in their ranks again. The key to winning this war is stopping Vhagar. This would be a devastating hit to the Greens, especially now that Rhaynara has turned the starving smallfolk of Kings Landing against the Greens by sending them hordes of food as a gift. 

The King Lives 

King Aegon seems to barely be holding onto life. The news came out that he is alive for now. Sleeping 9 hours out of every 10, he is aware that his psycho little brother did this to him. If Aegon finds a way to recover, could this cause a rift and a civil war inside the Greens, or will Aemond usurp his older brother? Aemond handed the stone ball back to his brother, as if to say you’re still the king, for now while I allow it. It’s a power move by Aemond letting his brother know who’s the more powerful one of the two. But Aegon isn’t in the worst shape among the House of Dragon Characters. Daemon seems to have completely lost his mind. He believes he’s been poisoned, even though Gayle Rankin persists it’s his ghosts coming back to haunt him. Daemon’s next movements are hard to predict right now, but no matter what he does, it will be important to the current conflict. His absence has put The Black’s answers to the aggression of the Greens on hold, and has caused Rhaynara and Mysaria to find more passive ways of hurting their enemy.

WWE has been red hot and Raw looks to continue to build some of the feuds happening on the show. The main feud on Raw is the man being advertised and that Drew McIntyre. The hometown hero is over right now, and he should get a greeting in Scotland that should rival Randy Orton’s Lyon, France entrance. Let’s breakdown this week's shows before the PLE.  Monday Night Raw 6/10  The go home episode of RAW for Clash at the Castle this Saturday kicked off with Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest standing face to face in the ring. Drew is so over right now, and it’s looking like he's going the route of a baby face.
